Carmen was born and raised on the West Coast of South Australia. After completing her studies at Prides Business College, she worked for a local accountant in Ceduna before moving to Naracoorte with her husband. Carmen joined Murray Nankivell in 1989, then took a break after 18 months to start her family. Once her children were attending school, she returned to the team in 1998 and has since been a valued member of the firm for over 25 years.
Carmen and her husband, Joe, have two adult children, Luke and Kendy, and have two beautiful grandchildren – Louie and Sadie.
In her role at Murray Nankivell, Carmen is responsible for preparing financial reports and tax returns for the majority of the 250 Super Funds managed by the Naracoorte office. She also plays a key role in training and supporting newer staff members who join the superannuation team.
Outside of work, Carmen enjoys spending time with her family, practicing yoga, and walking her dog, Harley. She is a big fan of summer, loves spending time outdoors, and enjoys travelling whenever she can.
