Before joining Murray Nankivell, Deb worked with the Commonwealth Bank and also ran her own bookkeeping business. She started with the firm in 1999, just as GST was being introduced, and was quickly thrust into the deep end, helping Murray Nankivell clients set up systems to manage the new tax requirements. Since then, Deb has been an integral part of the team, focusing on the preparation of activity statements for many clients within the Bordertown office. She also assists with preparing financial statements and tax returns for a variety of clients.
Deb is highly skilled in a range of bookkeeping software programs and plays a key role in helping clients set up their systems, providing training, and offering ongoing support in this area.
A born-and-bred local, Deb has always been actively involved in the community. She has played and served on committees for sports such as netball, basketball, cycling, and tennis. Together with her husband Mick, Deb now enjoys supporting her children and grandchildren in their sporting pursuits. Looking ahead, Deb is excited to travel more, both within Australia and overseas.
