Liam grew up in Bordertown and after completing his high school studies moved to Adelaide to attend university where he gained a Bachelor of Finance at the University of Adelaide.

Liam began working at an Adelaide based bank in their treasury team managing cashflow requirements and payment processing, before moving overseas with his wife for a three-year stint in London at an investment fund in an operations role. Returning to Adelaide he spent several years in banking as a Financial Markets dealer, assisting clients with their foreign exchange and interest rate risk management.

Beginning his accounting journey as a treasury accountant within the finance team at a leading South Australian University, Liam worked on the preparation of quarterly and annual forecasts and reports, also commencing his CPA program studies. An opportunity to further his accounting experience came up in 2015 with a move to Naracoorte, and this also provided the chance to move closer to family in the South East, where he worked in a rural accounting firm, attaining his CPA designation in 2016.

Seeking a change, Liam then became the Operations Manager for a local Rural Products business, working in livestock sale processing, accounts payable and receivable, payroll and liaising with a wide range of clients regarding accounts and working closely with the credit team.

With comprehensive knowledge in all areas of finance, Liam is now excited to be back working in public practice with Murray Nankivell. He is available to assist clients with a range of business needs, including tax planning, BAS lodgement, the preparation of financial statements and tax returns, and any tax enquiries that you may have.

In his spare time, Liam is kept busy with his three children and is actively involved in a range of sports including basketball, both playing and spectating, and serving as the associations Treasurer, cricket, football, and although limited of late does enjoy a hit of golf when time allows.
