About:
Loreen was born and raised in the Philippines before moving to Australia in 2009. After completing her university studies, she worked for the international non-profit organisation Habitat for Humanity, helping build homes for marginalized communities. Due to visa restrictions, Loreen spent five years working at a local abattoir while awaiting her permanent residency approval. Once her visa status was finalised, she joined Blue Lake Milling, where she worked in various accounting roles for nearly a decade. Loreen became part of the Murray Nankivell team in 2022.
In her current role, Loreen works closely with Kirstie and Maddie in our Superannuation team, where she is responsible for preparing financial reports and tax returns. Loreen also helps clients navigate the requirements of Self Managed Superannuation Fund (SMSF) rules and provides assistance with SMSF-related queries.
Loreen has two nearly grown children, Kraig and Andrea. Outside of work, her life revolves around balancing her career, household responsibilities, supporting her children’s sporting commitments, and participating in church activities. She is also an active member of the local Filipino community, which provides her with a close-knit, family-like support network away from home.
