Sharyna grew up on a horse stud in Monarto and attended school in Murray Bridge. She spent her teens training horses and, in her early 20s, started a business in Equine Assisted Therapy, which she successfully ran for 10 years. She also worked in a pharmacy for six years, becoming a retail manager. She took time off from her career so she and her husband, Benson could focus on building their off grid strawbale home in Palmer, where they now live with their five horses and cat.
In 2024, Sharyna joined Murray Nankivell, where she is transitioning to a new career in finance and is currently studying a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping. In her role on the administration team, she is the first point of contact for clients and provides support across various in-house processes.
Outside of work, Sharyna enjoys spending time with family and friends, horseback riding, hiking, kayaking, reading, travelling, and working on home projects with her husband.
